KATZ, Edith B., of Framingham, MA, formerly of New York and New Jersey, entered into rest on March 2, 2019 at 100 years of age. Wife of the late Max Abraham Katz. A longtime resident of New York City, Mrs. Katz proudly served in the Advertising Sales Dept. of The New York Times for 25 years.
Left to cherish her memory are her devoted children, Melvin Katz and his wife Rima, of North Brunswick, NJ, and Debra Berenbaum and her husband Izzy Berenbaum, of Waban, MA; loving brother, Harold Korovin and his wife, Mimi, of Boca Raton, FL; cherished grandchildren, Jennifer Katz-Hickman and Christopher Hickman, Laura Katz and Jed Wilson, Ari Berenbaum, Marisa Berenbaum, and Karina Berenbaum; and treasured great-grandchildren, Zachary Hickman, Sophie Hickman, Elijah Berenbaum, Joshua Wilson, and Jack Wilson.
A graveside service for Mrs. Katz will be held on Wednesday, March 6, 2019 at 1:00 PM at Beth David Cemetery, 300 Elmont Rd., Elmont, NY. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to Perkins School for the Blind, 175 North Beacon St., Watertown, MA 02472, or via www.perkins.org.
