Doris K. Gross

Gross, Doris, (Koren) 92, of Brookline and West Palm Beach, FL. Beloved wife of the late Sidney Gross. Loving mother of Deena Gross and her husband Mark Weinstein of York, PA and Michael Gross of Brookline. Cherished Aunt of Alison Rosen of Canton, Debby Katz of Weston, CT, Phillip Lester of NJ, Beverly Reingold of NY and other nephews. Doris studied and taught French for many years at Boston University and enjoyed the weekly French discussion group at the Brookline Senior Center, and a variety of cultural programs at the French Library in Boston. She was also a regular supporter of numerous charitable, cultural and religious organizations. Doris made friends everywhere she went and she will be dearly missed by her family and loved ones in every part of her life.

Services at the Levine Chapel, 470 Harvard Street, Brookline, on Sunday November 8, 2015, at 12 NOON. Burial in Sharon Memorial Park.

Meal of consolation will follow the burial at Chestnut Park of Cleveland Circle. Shiva at her late residence in Brookline will be held Monday through Friday from 2 PM to 7 PM; other times please call first.

In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to charities that further language, cultural, or music education.
