Charles H. Ford

Charles H. Ford, age 88, of Newton on Monday, October 29, 2012. For 63 years, beloved husband of Charlotte (Goodman). Loving father of Joy Levy & her husband Dean, Laura Deutsch & her husband Michael, and Paul Ford. Devoted grandfather of Adam & Valerie Berezin, Jared & Laurie Berezin, Alexis and Ian Deutsch, Jessica Christoferson and Jake Levy. Proud great-grandfather of Ava and Samuel Berezin, and Cooper Christoferson. Beloved son of the late Benjamin and Evelyn (Daniels) Ford, and dear brother of the late Frederick Ford. Charles served in the South Pacific as a naval officer during WWII, and later owned the Duval Corporation in Norwood. A lifelong resident of Massachusetts, Charles believed that the best air on earth could be breathed in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. Graveside services at Crawford Street Memorial Park, 776 Baker St., West Roxbury on Friday, November 2, 2012 at 11:00. Memorial observance will be private.
