I knew Bonnie for more than 50 years. We met even before she started college. We had a very close and special friendship for many years. I'm very sad and my sincere condolences to her family.  Because I live far away, we mostly kept in touch via Facebook in recent years. But, we still had a special bond. Here is a message I got from Bonnie a number of years ago.  I'd also like to add a photo of me, Bonnie, and Bonnie Cutler, who was also close to Bonnie for many years. "Hi Alan. I know that. You were one of my best and dearest friends. I know you know what I feel from my posts. Not a lot of people would. I hope you have a very Happy Valentines Day too!!! I would love to see you, Bonnie."

Where to begin? Meeting Becca when we were 13 and becoming best friends obviously made Bonnie a big part of my teenage years! Between all of the shopping, trying on Bonnie’s clothes, playing with her makeup, doing her hair and cuddling in the most comfortable bed I’ve ever felt she was the most amazing person. Fast forward 15 years and she called my salon on New Years Eve looking for a blowdry appointment. I said no to everyone that day because we were so busy, not knowing it was Bonnie for some reason I said yes (she was very persuasive). And I’m so glad I did! She came walking into the salon that day and both our jaws dropped! She met me with the biggest hug ever. That would bring the next 2 years of laughter and messing with each other. She had the best sense of humor. The love Bonnie had for both of her children was unbreakable and the love she had for friends was unconditional. Bonnie loved coming in weekly for blowouts with Marilyn “Katie tease my hair higher, I need it to last”. The Blonde Salon will truly never be the same without her she was a huge part of our lives there. Becca and Scottie I love you guys and your mother will be sorely missed, her memory will live on forever ❤️

Hard to believe I’ve known Bonnie when she was younger than you. I know this is such a difficult time for you her legacy lives on with you. I remember when she met your father the wedding and then the love her life came along.   You I was at the hospital the day you were born and have watched the love and closeness only a daughter and mother can have. I love you ❤️ Marilyn and Craig

Bonnie, I still can’t believe this. You were always so sweet and such an amazing person to me and my entire family. The bond you had with Emmanuel was funny but also genuine. You never held back on what to say and carried your heart on your sleeve. The love you had for your family and friends did not go unnoticed. Love you so much and this is not a goodbye. 

My sweet Becca! My heart hurts for you. I don’t want to begin to imagine what you’re going through. Bonnie will always be watching over you and will always be with you. I know how much you loved and cared for your mother. Bonnie is no longer suffering and is now at peace. Just know we are here for you and always will be! Love you!

Where to begin Bonnie was like a second mom I grew up with Becca as she was my first bestfriend . My condolences to the family love you so much . I know your mom will always be with us . I Remember all of our childhood memories together at the beach and going to Bonnie's office and sitting in the chair and acting like a realtor and ironic how I really grew up and became an amazing realtor . Remember cuddling in your comfortable king bed watching movies with you and Becca and all of our shopping sprees I can never ever forget you Bonnie you will be missed terribly!!! May you rest in peace and watch over all of us our Angel ❤️

I had the pleasure of knowing Bonnie through her dearest friend Steve, and she was often right about many things. A savvy woman of the world. She spoke often of her children and loved her little dog. She will be missed.

I will always remember Bonnie by how kind she was to me when I first met her. We had an agency beach day on Revere beach at the Mehlinger house, and she was so funny and friendly with everyone that day. It didn’t matter that most of us were strangers in her home who she would’ve just been meeting for the first time. Everyone was treated like an old friend by Bonnie. Those kind of people are rare in life, and that’s why we were all lucky to know Bonnie
