Barbara J. (Sacco) Shea, of Canton on Tuesday, November 28, 2023.
For 44 years, she was the beloved wife of the late William G. Shea. Loving mother of Nicole & David Moon, Lauren & Nicholas Shizas, Joshua Shea, Rachel & Jason Pastoriza and the late Marisa Amy Shea. Adored grandmother of Jonathan & Alyssa Moon, Marisa, Livia & Teddy Shizas, and Will, Jude, & Max Pastoriza. Cherished daughter of the late R. John & Betty Sacco.
Barbara was a devoted friend, mentor, and a force to be reckoned with. She was an avid reader with a thirst for knowledge and a love of travel. She was passionate about helping others whether through her long career as an educator, her philanthropic efforts, or as the person who always just showed up whether to lend an ear, to give her honest advice, or to help someone in need. The only thing she loved more than her service to others was her family – especially seeing her eight grandchildren together.
