Arline R. “Madie” (Silverman) Evans passed away peacefully at age 97 on July 10, 2022. A longtime resident of Berlin, N.H. with her late husband Jack, Madie had lived more recently in Scottsdale, AZ, and for the past four years in Los Angeles, near her daughter Susan and her husband Peter. Madie is also survived by two sons, Carl and his wife Susan in Bethesda, MD; Steve and his wife Lisa in Ann Arbor, MI; three grandsons (Stuart, Ben, and Eric) and two great grandsons (Gavin and Liam).
Madie was an ardent fan of both classical music and ballet. She traveled widely with her late husband. She brought generosity and cheer to all her encounters and was a gracious hostess who loved to cook and entertain family and friends.
A graveside service will be held on Sunday, July 17 at 11 am at Mohliver Cemetery, 776 Baker Street, West Roxbury, Massachusetts, 02132.
