surrounded by her loving family. She was born on January 8th to Marcia Miller and Leon Edwards in Red Ground, Old Harbour St. Catherine
Jamaica.
Devine started her early education at Good Hope Primary School where she then continued to further her education at Old Harbour High
school. She migrated to the United States of America in 2013 where she moved to Milwaukee, Wisconsin and further her education in the
medical field. Devine was passionate about her work and dedicated to her patient’s and their family., She took care of her patients with love
and compassion.
Devine was a beacon of love and strength in the lives of her four children and two grandchildren, whom she adored with all her heart. Her
life was defined by her unwavering dedication to her family; she would go to any lengths to ensure their happiness and well-being. Devine's
home was a sanctuary of warmth and joy, where she delighted in cooking and dancing with her children and grandchildren, creating
cherished memories that will live on in their hearts. She loves hanging out with her friends, cousins, brothers and sisters at parties where
the bond is strong and always having fun.
To her four children and two grandchildren, Devine was not just a mother and grandmother; she was a guiding light, a source of boundless
support, and the very heart of their lives. Her children and grandchildren were her world, and she would have moved mountains for them
without a second thought. Devine's love was both fierce and tender, a constant presence that offered comfort and joy. She found her
greatest happiness in their laughter, their milestones, and in the everyday moments she shared with them.
One of the greatest gifts Devine gave to her family was her talent for cooking which she shared with aunties and her brother. Her kitchen
was always warm, filled with the aroma of her delicious Jamaican meals that she prepared with an extra sprinkle of love.
Devine Edwards cherished her parents deeply, holding a special place in her heart for both her mother and father. Though she lost her
mother at the tender age of 14, the bond they shared never faded. Devine often spoke of her mother's warmth and strength, drawing
inspiration from those early memories throughout her life. This enduring connection shaped the person she became—one who valued
family, love, and resilience above all else. Devine carried her mother's spirit with her, ensuring that the lessons and love imparted in those
formative years would forever guide her as a mother and grandmother herself.
Devine's bond with her nieces, nephews, cousins, sisters and brothers was equally special. From their early days together, they shared a
connection that was both profound and unbreakable. Their relationship was a source of strength and comfort, a reminder that family ties are
not just about blood but about shared experiences and deep understanding. They supported one another through life's highs and lows, a
testament to the enduring power of her relationships.

Devine is survived by her four children Thanequa (son -in law Demetrius), Paula, Britney and Amira, her two beloved grandchildren Kaylee
and Jetae , her treasured sisters Sherine, Lesa, Mashell, Skeeter, Shamecka, Deon and Sophia and her step sisters Nakeema, Ventrice, her
brothers Lando, Jerome, Junior and Nicholas and her Father Leon (step-mother Gladys Edwards). her Nieces and nephews, her loving
Aunts, Uncles, cousins and friends. Her memory will forever be etched in our hearts, and she will be deeply missed by all who had the
privilege of knowing her.
Devinde was preceded in death by her mother Marcia Miller, Maternal Grandmother Gwen Peterson , Paternal Grandparents Lena and
Wesley Edwards, her sisters Nadine Edwards and Tara Francis, niece Shellome Peart and cousin Brandon Christian.
