Joanna "JoJo" Lynn Wiggins

Joanna Lynn Wiggins, age 43, of Lincoln passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, morning, August 5, 2021. A graveside service will be Saturday at 1:00pm, August 21, 2021at the Rose Hill Cemetery in Broadwater with Vonnie Brown - Worship Leader. In lieu of other tributes, a college fund is being set up for Joanna’s 13 year old daughter, donations may be made to the Marlee Wiggins College Fund. Joanna was born May 9, 1978 in Oshkosh, Nebraska to Cleve and Linda Wiggins. She was raised in Broadwater Nebraska, attending Broadwater Grade School. She went to high school in Dalton Nebraska and was a graduate of the Leyton Class of 1996. She then took nursing classes and worked her way to attaining the status of RN. She worked in the nursing field around the panhandle of Nebraska and in Lincoln.

In 2008 she welcomed the pride and joy of her life, a daughter Marlee Novelle. Joanna enjoyed fishing and lake time, attending concerts and sporting events. She held numerous jobs in and out of the health care field, most recently she was the assistant manager at America’s Best Eye Care . She was dearly loved and will be missed.

Immediate survivors include her 13 year old daughter Marlee, her mother Linda, brothers Russell Bennett, Rodney (Louise) Bennett, Ronald Bennett, and David (Carrie) Wiggins. She was Aunt JoJo to nieces and nephews, Heather (Dave) Kaster, Joseph Bennett, Courtney Bennett, Dawson and Maxson Wiggins and Great niece and nephew Evan and Harper Kaster.

She was preceded in death by her father Cleve Wiggins and nephew Cameron Wiggins, Grandparents Homer and Evelyn Myers, Allen and Gladys Wiggins and several Aunts and Uncles.
