Bernice H Berry Hart

Her Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, November 14, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at the First Presbyterian Church in Bridgeport with Pastor Jonathan Berosek officiating. Inurnment will follow at Angora Cemetery. The family requests casual attire. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Bridgeport Volunteer Fire Department, Presbyterian Church, Prairie Haven Hospice or Morrill County Community Hospital. She was born on March 30, 1928 near Bridgeport to Bill and Pearla (Jones) Butler. She received her education in the rural schools. She married LeRoy G. Berry on April 11, 1945 and made their home near Angora, Nebraska. She married Richard ""Dick"" Hart December 25, 1975 and made their home in Bridgeport, NE.

Bernice was a member of the Eagles, Eastern Star and First Presbyterian Church.

She truly loved the Bridgeport State Lakes and the migration of the Canadian geese.

Survivors include her sons Dean L. (Kathie) Berry, Rodger A. (Joanne) Berry and Lynn B. (Bev) Berry and daughter Irene Y. (Johnny) Cooper; grandchildren: Scott Berry, Deanna Vandecar, Sid Berry, Kendra Backer, Shauna Abbott and Denise Berry; 16 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren; sister Mary Candy and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her first husband LeRoy G. Berry, son Murray G. Berry, second husband Dick Hart, parents, six brothers, three sisters and in laws.
