I am so sorry for your loss. I cannot imagine how much your hearts ache. It was such a pleasure for me to know Tyler as I worked in blue valley as the music therapist. He brought joy to my day with his smile and enthusiasm for the music. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Tyler touched my life in a truly profound way. My work in special education was temporary, but the memories I have with the kids, Tyler in particular, will last a lifetime. Thank you for the opportunity to get to know him beyond the school setting. Some of my favorite memories of Tyler were in your home, especially during "snack time." We would sing, laugh, I would call him my friend and he would say it back ... he will be missed by everyone who knew him. 

PS. I never knew we shared more than just the last name ... Tyler "Michael" Johnson :)

I just wanted to give you a story about my beach buddy Tyler. The week that i watch him for you at Folly Beach anytime anyone was playing ping pong he would watch the ball go back and forth the whole game and if the ball went off the table he would get it for whoever was playing. THen the times when it would be just the two of us at the beach house he would take my hand and walk me to the ping pong table and i would have to play with myself because i knew that he just wanted to watch someone play so i would play ping pong alone until he would ask to watch his favorite movie at the time Open Season.

Anytime I pass a McDonald's or hear the commercial.. "Ba da da da da, I'm loving it." I think of Tyler. He always surprised me with what all he could remember but I may be a little biased because I always made sure he remembered "ALLLLY!" :)  Ally Burgess (Aiken)

Tyler' favorite song was He's Got The Whole World in His Hands. How wonderful to know that the Lord now has Tyler in his hands. He has made Tyler whole when he arrived in heaven!  What a glorious day when we see him again.  Tyler will always have a place in my heart. God bless you Amanda, Richard and Bryce.

I am deeply grieved to hear about Tyler. I was thinking about him just this past week. I was with some children in Trinidad and we were singing the song "He's Got the Whole World in His hands" and that is a song that Tyler loved to sing whenever I was there. His sweet face would light up with joy when I would sing a line back to him. Those memories, honestly, are ones that I will always remember. I never saw a kid light up the way he did. The joy and tenderness that Tyler had will never be forgotten. My family and I are storming heaven, asking our Lord to give you peace, that he would hold you tenderly in his arms through this very difficult time.

I remember kickball, Special Olympics, pep rallies, and lunch time with this wonderful and sweet friend. He was well loved and will always be missed. His friends are wearing beads in his honor this week. I am sorry for this loss, but I am glad that I got the chance to know Tyler. He was the light that brought me fully into the need to help others.
