Richard Allen Keener

Richard Allen Keener of Nashville passed away August 4, 2020. Richard was born August 9, 1954, in Winchester, VA, to the late Richard M. Keener and Madelyn W. Shaw. Richard is preceded in death by his brother Robert L Duke and survived by his brother, David M. Keener, sisters Claudia S Keener and Terrie K. Kicklighter, and daughters Lisa S. Taylor and Julia James. He was the proud grandfather of John P. Newman and Joel Taylor.

Richard was a life-long learner, continually achieving new certifications in order to be the best in his career as a Maintenance and Engineering Manager. Richard was a self-taught artist and painter and created beautiful works of art. He attended Healing Love Fellowship Church. If you knew Richard, you know that his passion above all others was his music. He wrote, mixed, performed, and published heartfelt original music.

Richard will be remembered for his kindness, sense of humor, and love for his family and friends.
