Terri worked for Kroger for 32 years as store manager and in other positions. Her Kroger co-workers were truly family to her, especially Deborah Tibbs and Margina Gary who were with her all her career and beyond. She was an avid reader, had a lifelong love for animals including her special dog Ringo, and gave generously of her time and resources to many charities and philanthropies. She had a special relationship with the Mom Squad: Barbara Whittemore, Deb Logsdon, Leigh Funderburk, Robbie Luckett, and Terri Bruey, who met through their children but remained lifelong friends and constant, faithful companions. The last few months of her life, as she struggled with mounting illness and pain, were eased and her burden lightened through the love and tireless efforts of the kind ladies mentioned above. Her family is truly grateful to all for the love and support shown by her friends, we remain indebted to you.
Friends and family will gather for visitation at Brentwood-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home on Monday, May 18, 2015 from four to seven o'clock in the evening including a memorial service at five o'clock.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations in her honor to Alive Hospice and/or Nashville Humane Society.
