Margaret D Turek

Margaret (Margie) Deborah (Hoffman) Turek born February 11, 1940, passed away on Thursday, January 30, 2020. Margie was 79 and is survived by her loving husband, Jim Turek, three sons, James Scott Turek (Carol), Jeff Turek (Shernette), and Michael Turek (Jennifer). Margie and Jim had been married for 59 years. Margaret had five grandchildren Alex Turek (Milliu Risco), June Cedillo (Wes Koger), Cody Turek (Callie West), Samantha Turek, Sydney Turek and Jack Turek, five great grandchildren, Mason, Miles, Madison, Kodi and Magnus. Nieces and nephews, Brian and Penny Lutz and sister Carol Lutz Benson and family.

She was preceded in death by her brother Terry Lutz.

Margie was born in Chicago, IL. Margie graduated from Pekin High School and then attended the University of Illinois till she met Jim and got married on July 2nd 1960. Margie and Jim lived in Hanover Park, IL and then moved to San Diego, CA in 1979. In 2000 Jim retired and they moved to Spring Hill, Florida to enjoy their retirement together.

Margie adored her three sons and loved spending time with her grandchildren and greatgrandchildren. She enjoyed gardening, traveling, visiting the beach, fishing and watching birds. Margaret impacted many lives and leaves happy memories with friends and family.
