To Lemma's Family,
I met Lemma through the Red Hat Ladies at the Martin Center.  Her passing was a real shock and she will be missed.  My thoughts and prayers are with all of you; may she rest in peace.

To Lemma's Family,
I met Lemma as her ceramics instructor at the JL Clay Senior Center in Franklin.  She and I later became "club-mates" in the Four Seasons Garden Club of Franklin until she became very involved in the Martin Center and decided to resign from our club.  We were even e-mail buddies.  She was a wonderful, happy, caring person.    I am truly saddened by her passing.  Rest in peace, sweet woman.

I had the pleasure of knowing Lemma from the Martin Center and as a Red Hatter.  She was a wonderful lady that I loved to talk to.  She was always happy, smiling and very positive.  She did not know the meaning of the words "you can't".  I admire so many things about her and I am trying to model my own life after her example.  She had class, enthusiasm,and love for her family.  She was very proud of her family.  She is in Heaven now but will remain in our memories forever as she has set the standards we all hope to live up to.

To the Keckley Family,

We were saddened to hear about Miss Lemma's sudden passing.  She was a lovely Christian lady and a delightful person to know.  We truly admired her zest for life!

We will keep all of you in our thoughts and prayers.

I was saden to hear of the passing of Lemma.  She & Paul were such a bright light at Hixson Church of Christ & ment so much to me when they came to Al. when my mother passed. Mike and I were surprised and saddened to hear about the loss of Gary's mother just today.  We would like to express our sincere condolences on your loss.  Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this difficult time. May God hold you in his caring arms.

I had the privilege of meeting Mrs. Keckley just in the past month.  We recently moved in two houses down from her.  Not only did she bring us the most beautiful and delicious cake, she invited us to church and discussed getting together for dinner.  We discovered several mutual connections, mostly through the church and Lipscomb.  From our one conversation, it was evident that she was a wonderful Christian woman and such a sweet and fun person.  Praying  for your family during this time, but rejoicing as she is now with our Heavenly Father!

Dear Keckley Family, Lemma was so special to us. She was our friend from the time we started attending Concord Road Church of Christ. We thought she was the most loving, lovable beautiful lady. We will miss her tremendously but we know, we will see her again in heaven.

     I'm so sorry for your loss! She is in a better place however. Lemma was a wonderful spirited student. She loved playing the organ and I loved her as a student! I will miss her very much.

Ms Lemma Keckley was one of the sweetest ladies I have ever known. She walked the walk and talked the talk with an energy and curiosity seldom seen in the young, much less the more mature. If Ms Lemma wanted to do it, she did. She set the bar for all, young and old. If we embrace life as Ms Lemma did we will certainly test our mind, spirit and body.
Rest in peace dear lady. I will miss you so much.

We are so sorry for your loss.  Mrs. Keckely was a ball of energy and always so fun to be around.  She definitely lived life to the fullest and didn't slow down at all.  We will miss her so much, but look forward to seeing her again in heaven.

Dear Paul, Jr., Gary and families, we were sorry to hear about your mother. Your mother and my mother as well as our fathers were the very dearest of friends in Chattanooga in the Brainerd church family.  I was one of your first babysitters Paul...even before Gary was born.  I remember your Mom's brownie's she would leave for me to eat while I was babysitting. Then my sister Joy took over when I got married.  Your mother gave Joy a fantastic bridal shower.  They took her first opera and taught her to appreciate opera. She was always doing things for our family. My mother Jane, Joy and her husband Tom hope to see you tomorrow.
