Kerry Jane Rader (45) of Knoxville, TN passed away peacefully in her sleep on Wednesday, January 3rd. Born and raised in Sevier County, Kerry graduated from Sevier County High School and attended the University of Tennessee. Kerry later resided in Knoxville where her photography, writing and creative talents led to a partnership in a small design company. Kerry had a true passion for the outdoors, music and arts. In addition, she cherished the strong friendships she made throughout her life. Her quick wit and humor was admired by many. Kerry was preceded in death by her father, John (Rick) Rader; grandparents, Alvin and Louise Rader and Robert and Kathleen Long; one aunt, Barbara Ann Long of Knoxville and a close family friend, Sarah Buchanan of Sevierville. She is survived by her mother, Kathleen (Kathy) Long Rader Earle; two sisters, Holly Rader and Ginger Rader Earhart (Dave); nieces and nephews, Cole, Reese, Brynn and Jude Earhart; two uncles, Ron H. Rader (Jane) and Richard Long (Shelly); great-uncle, Douglas Long (Annie); numerous cousins and special friend, Tanda Paine. Kerry’s ready smile and sweet manner will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved her. Private services will be held for the family.
