He is survived by his son John Andrew (Ashley) Gordon and daughter Rebecca (David) Hutto. Grandchildren John Gordon Jr, Samuel Gordon, Natalie Gordon, Deacon Gordon, David Gordon, Sadie Gordon, Taylor Hutto, Gracie (Devin) Capell, Jackson Hutto, great-granddaughter Merrin Capell and sister Sue Ann Hocutt.
Mr. Gordon was preceded in death by Edith Ann Mayo Gordon, his wife of 53 years. His parents Henry Gordon and Kathleen Dunham Gordon and his brother Ralph Samuel Gordon.
The family will hold a memorial service at 4:00 pm on April 19th, 2025 at LifePoint Church, 506 Legacy Drive, Smyrna, TN 37167, Entrance D. They will receive friends starting at 2:00 pm.
