Helen Adele Morris

Born on October 14, 1926, in Wyckoff, NJ, Helen was the daughter of the Rev.George Heneveld and Henrietta (Etta Lugers) Heneveld.

Helen began working in the Wyckoff Post Office while in high school. She retired from Postal Service in 1979 after almost forty years of service. She was also active in her church choir and a social club she started at Ramsey High School. The ladies in the club met for over sixty years and often travelled together.

After her retirement, Helen spent many hours on the Innisbrook golf course in Palm Harbor Florida and when not playing golf she enjoyed playing hymns and holiday music on her organ.

Helen is survived by her children: Barbara Davenport (Edgar), of Denver, NC, and Gilbert H. Morris (Barbara), of Ashland City, TN; her grandchildren, Erica, Mark, Sarah, and Allison, and eight great grandchildren.

Helen is preceded in death by her husband, Gilbert Morris, and two brothers, Dr. Robert Heneveld and Lowell Heneveld.

Arrangements by Brentwood-Roesch Patton Funeral Home, Brentwood, TN.

Burial in Sylvan Abbey Memorial Park, Clearwater, FL.
