VASSIL, George M. - Age 78 of Brentwood, passed away on March 5, 2012. Survived by loving wife of nearly 48 years, Jeanette E. Vassil; sons, Michael (Laureen) Vassil and Mark Vassil; and two grandchildren, Matthew and Allison. He will be fondly remembered for his service to his country in the United States Air Force. A Memorial service will be held at Brentwood-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home on Saturday, March 10, 2012 at one o'clock in the afternoon. The family will receive friends beginning one hour prior. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association .
