DIXON, Frances “Fran”, age 80, passed away after a brief and sudden illness on June, 3, 2013. She is preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Harry Dixon and her son, Dr. Steven Michael Dixon. Mrs. Dixon is survived by her son, Bill (Susan) Dixon, Inwood, WV; son-in-law, Dr. Jeffrey Akman, Washington D.C.; daughter, Karen Ragan; grandchildren, Jessie and Matthew Ragan and sister, Jean (Wayne) Young, Glasgow, KY. Fran was a longtime member of the Robert I. Moore Sunday School Class at Brentwood United Methodist Church. A visitation will be held from five until eight o’clock in the evening on Friday, the 7th of June, 2013 at Brentwood Roesch-Patton Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at eleven o’clock in the morning on Saturday, the 8th of June at Brentwood United Methodist Church with a visitation held one hour prior to the service. Interment to follow at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens.
