She was a member of Little Harpeth Garden Club, where she served as secretary, she enjoyed membership in the Lady Grey Eagles. Mrs. Ammons also served as a Docent at the Governor’s Mansion, as well as serving two terms on the Brentwood Planning commission.
She was a founding member of Christ Presbyterian Church. Most of all she will be remembered as a loving wife and Mother. She is preceded in death by her husband Morgan Fred Ammons and Grandson Mark C. Ammons She is survived by her children; Brenda K. (Phil) Foster, Richard L. (Brenda) Ammons Andrew (Charlotte) Ammons and step son Steven Ammons.

Julie Ammons and Nicole (Dustin) Armistead. Great grand Children; Barrett Gabriel Foster, Dexter Walters, Cadis Ammons, Nash Ammons Jack Ammons, Tealey Ammons, Pearl Ammons and Arya Armistead; Sister Drucella (Pat) Thompson.
Visitation at Brentwood Roesch Patton Funeral Home Sunday February 11, 2018. Visitation from noon until two o’clock in the afternoon. Funeral will begin at two o’clock in the afternoon in the chapel at Brentwood Roesch Patton Funeral Home. Entombment following at Woodlawn’s Cross Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in Mrs. Ammons name may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, Christ Presbyterian Church or Easter Seals.
