She was born in Portageville, Missouri on September 1st, 1927 to Lester and Daisy Heitman. She later moved to Memphis, Tennessee where she graduated high school. She married Billy Gene Stewart in 1946. She was an avid church goer and a member of Emmanuel Methodist Church.
Juanita is survived by her two sons, Ricky Gene Stewart (Jeanie) and Billy Gene Stewart; grandchildren, Wendy Shumate (Tom); Sunny Krchmar (Bryan); Matthew Smith (Caitland) and Daniel Smith; five great grandchildren, Grayson; Addie and Laura Beth Shumate; Dylan and Conner Krchmar.
She is preceded in death by her son, Ronnie Gene Stewart; daughter, Katy Juanita Stewart; and husband of over 75 years, Billy Gene Stewart.
A graveside service for Juanita will be held Friday, September 22, 2023 at 1:00 pm at Portageville Cemetery, South Huffman Ave, Portageville, MO 63873.
