David Lane Moody

David graduated from DC Everest High School in Wausau, WI. After graduation, he attended Cedarville University where he obtained his BA in Business. David married Lisa Tyson on July 1, 1989, in Cedarville, Ohio. David was a man of many talents, including master carpentry, landscape architecture, television camera operator, and teacher. He enjoyed waterskiing, scuba diving, playing hockey, serving at Brentwood Baptist Church, and cheering on his children in their activities. While he was a master of many things, his greatest accomplishments were his three children, Madelyn Leigh, Chandler Tyson, and Tyson Lane Moody. David loved his Lord and lived a life of service to Him in everything he did.

David is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Lisa L. Moody; children, Madelyn, Chandler (Caroline), and Tyson; grandchildren, Margo, and Clara; parents Lane and Pat; and sisters, Debby (Dana) Moore, and Linda (Drew) Baker.

Visitation for David Lane Moody will be Friday, December 29, 2023, from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at Brentwood Baptist Church, 7777 Concord Rd, Brentwood, TN. 37027. Celebration of Life Service at 1:00 PM.

Lisa and the family would love to hear your stories, memories, and favorite "Davidisms". There will be blank cards available at the visitation, or you can bring your own, with collection baskets where you can place them on Friday. They will have them bound into a memory book where they can take the time to read your precious memories.
