He did his undergraduate work at the University of Tennessee and earned his MBA from Duke University. In the last three decades, he worked for Procter & Gamble, Coca-Cola, EMI Records, and most recently, VF Imagewear. He was also an active member in his community and church, Christ Presbyterian. He was preceded in death by his father, Donald Earl Crace, Sr. of Franklin, TN.
He is survived by his wife, Jennifer Lee Crace and two children, Paul and Sarah Jane. Other survivors include his mother, Janice Crace of Franklin; brothers, Sam (Judy) of Cookeville, TN and Don (Charlene) of Brentwood, TN; and sister, Leah Crace Jones (Tim) of Boonesville, Maryland.
David was well known for his deep appreciation of personal and family relationships as well as his intelligent smile and quick wit. His faith, humility, and quiet generosity enriched the lives of those who knew him.
Visitation will be held from four o’clock in the evening until eight on Wednesday, July 22, 2015 at Christ Presbyterian Church, 2323 Old Hickory Blvd #A, Nashville, TN 37215. Funeral service will be held at eleven o’clock in the morning on Thursday, July 23, 2015 at Christ Presbyterian Church with a visitation one hour prior.
