William L. Vance (Billy) was born on June 18, 1937 to his late Mom, Geneva Douglas and Joseph Adams in Washington, D.C. Billy made his transition to eternal life on September 6, 2022 at Mercy Medical Center Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland after a long tough health battle, "No longer will you suffer in pain".
Billy started his early education in the District of Columbia public schools. He retired from Giant Food, Inc. after 35 years as Meat Manager, and spent his relaxed life enjoying family, fishing and hunting trips and other travelling events. He loved his family and those who care for him. "There is no distance that would keep him from being connected with those he loved. He enjoyed family BBQs and holidays gatherings. His interest was eating good food, and listening to good music. He really enjoyed using that BBQ grille, and his dishes really made you feel loved.
Billy was a good husband, father, uncle , friend and more. We all shared something very special with him. He will dearly be missed by everyone who knew and loved him. He was a fighter, although he developed many health problems through the years, "A real trooper, fighting until the end. Billy was preceded in death by his: grandparents, son(Andrew), mom and dad, brother(Jr.), cousin(Peewee), aunt and friends and co-workers. He will be lovingly remembered by his, wife(Evelyn), 3 children (Michael/Jeanette), (Deborah/Russell), (Paul-Jr), sister(Sylvia), a host of grands, great-grands and great -great grands, devoted friend (James), nieces and nephews
