Our condolences for the loss of Virginia Jefferson..   Our parents, Jack and Ruby Potts, lived next door to her on Chadwick Court.   They felt very blessed as we did, too,  to have her as a neighbor.  She was a great source of friendship for my parents.  When they got older, she used to move their newspaper to the front porch to make it easier for them to get their paper.  All of us remember her with great respect and kindness == Marcia Potts 

Beloved Grandma,

Since you’ve been gone, every morning I open my eyes- I see bright blue skies and sunshine for a bit.  I know this is you saying, “Hello grandbaby, I’m doing alright!”  This makes me smile.  Still, I will miss you so much!! Miss your singing, seeing you standing at the front door watching me leave, or  just simply telling it like it is.  Your lessons made me hard working, resilient, honest, humble, and kind. I will be forever grateful for the blessing of your presence in my life. There will be no other like you and I will always carry your spirit in my heart.  I love you grandma!! May you rest in paradise❤️

Dear Mother:
You have been gone six days and I have awaken every morning since then wanting to call you just to here your voice.  But I then
realize that I can't talk to you anymore or even here you sing all those religious songs anymore. Mother I am going to miss you and
all the conversations we use to have and all the ideas you use to give me in solving my problems. Mother I love you with all my heart and I will miss you and think about you everyday until we meet again.

Aunt Virginia was a very special aunt to me. She was a strong tower in the Jefferson's family.  She was free spirited, kind, thoughtful, and loved her family.  I looked forward to her coming home. She would come by our house to see my mother and us.  My mother loved herself some Virginia and I believed Aunt Virginia loved her as well.  So they're together in heaven reminiscing and talking about those Jefferson's boys.  I will truly miss her but I will always value the time I've known and spent with her. I loved Aunt Virginia,  but God loved her best.

MY SINCERE CONDOLENCES TO THE FAMILY.   MRS. JEFFERSON WAS A LOVELY PERSON AND A RAY OF SUNSHINE.   I ALWAYS  ENJOYED OUR PHONE CONVERSATIONS.  SHE  ALWAYS MADE ME LAUGH.   I AM SORRY WE DID NOT GET TO HAVE OUR  CHAT THIS YEAR.   GODS  SPEED "YOUNG" LADY.

Virginia was always a sweet, humble, kind and loving cousin. My mother's special niece. We would always be excited when she came to North Carolina. We Stevens would like to extend our deepest sympathy. We too share in your loss.  We pray that God comfort this family and be whatever they need  him to be during this sad time,
