Terry Lee Cale

Terry Lee Cale, age 67, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 4, 2019 at his home in Mt. Rainier MD, surrounded with his family and friends. He was born May 15, 1952 in West Virginia to Joseph Cale and Thelma Cale. He was a graduate of St. Anthony Catholic School. He worked as a computer programmer at Marriott Hotel in his early 20’s and then decided to pursue the insurance business and worked for AllState Insurance for almost 40 years.

Terry truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasure; chatting with friends and family, travel, or just sit on his porch in the cottage at Plum Point (Cheasapeake Beach) and watched the water at the Bay, Terry considered the cottage as his 2nd home. Terry had an uncanny ability to reach people in a deep and positive way. Terry always open his home to his friends and especially to people who were in need of help. Terry has his own way of welcoming everyone.

Terry is survived by his wife - Maya Cale, step children - Jillian, Ray and Brett, a brother-Mike Cale, a step brother – Jimmy Lafferty and nieces and nephews and cousins.

Family friends, and others whose lives Terry touched are invited to the Fort Lincoln Funeral Home, 3401 Bladensburg Road, Brentwood, MD 20722 from 5:00pm – 8:00pm on Saturday, September 14, 2019, to reminisce, grieve, support each other, and celebrate Terry’s life.
