It has been two years now and it is fresh in my mind that my uncle is gone.  Remembering the times at Nautilus made me want to have my granddaughter's wedding reception there.  Keeping Aunt Cookie, Lisa and Leslie in my prayers, may the Holy Spirit continue to comfort you.  Cousin Karen. 💞

Ever since that fateful moment

In my heart and in my soul

Maurice was a great smart but quite person. He was very smart as far as interior design, gardening, and my special fried chicken. But he reminded you of someone that had a nice yatch and sailed most of the day with a good expensive cigar ..rest easy freind ....

I Kevin L.  Awkard, speak within this journey of life.  We have lost loved ones close to our hearts.  Dad as I would call him. Adopted me just like his son.  I have been adopted within this family from the being 1960's. Dad long with my mother and father went to the same high school. Which was Dumbar High school.  Dad watch me grow from infant,toddler,teenager to man.  Along with his two daughters Lisa and Leslie.  Back in the day when, I was a infant and Lisa had a milk bottle.  She shared it with me. That is love, and that's the love I feel within this family.  My condolences and prayers within the Washington family. 

As you walk through this time of sorry, may you know that the Lord walks with you and He will comfort you.  To have know and work with Maurice was a pleasure. Geraldine
