I had the pleasure and privilege of working with my AKA sister and former Howard co-worker.  Margaret always gave 110% no matter what may have been happening in her personal life.  She was a committed volunteer as a member of the Executive Board of the Howard University Alumni Club of Prince Georges County, which she helped maintain for several years.  She was a true daughter of Howard University. 
As a sister in Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Margaret was always there with kindness, compassion, and an open ear.  Her commitment to her sisters is unmatched and will be missed.

I thank God for my time with Margaret.  She enriched my life and those around her.  May she rest in power and peace.

To my dearest PGWM (OES Sister and Voucher),  Fairy God Mother and Soror.  My heart still hurts. I will miss our weekly conversations and your guidance. You were my role model and  Boule Roommate, We made each other laugh and  you always provided clarify on life's situations . You were my rock. Thank you. Rest in Paradise. 

If we live, we live for the Lord; and if we die, we die for the Lord. So, whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord. Romans 14:8. It has truly been a devastating time for my OES Chapter, Electa Chapter No. 6 but, also my entire Masonic Family. This verse was a sentiment of how my Masonic Mentor, and Soror Margaret E Anderson graced us with her physical, and spiritual presence. She was a born leader who never complained and continued to work, volunteer and sacrifice without ever telling you what she was personally going through. Her level of commitment, love/ support towards aspiring sisters, and mentorship will truly be missed. My heart still aches as I accept this new reality. Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid. John 14:27. 🙏🏾💗💚

You were a sweet heart with style and with grace. A classy lady to say the least. You will me miss more thank you know.

One of my favorite pictures  with both of my mentors where we were unknowingly dressed alike for that day and one that I will cherish.  It a pleasure serving with you on the budget committee and I couldn’t have asked to be paired with anyone better. My heart was broken when I was told the news but remembering your smile and knowing that you fought a good fight, brings me peace. Love you MEA.

 Margaret  and I shared  so many memories of our earlier years when we saw each other at the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, North Atlantic Regional Conference  as members of the AKA Educational Advancement Foundation in Baltimore, MD, April 2022.  We had not 
seen each other in person for over 25 years. We talked about my being her Graduate Advisor when she was an undergraduate soror at the University of the District of Columbia.
