Katherine "Kathi" Cordellia Millar Jordan

On Friday, August 26, 2022, Katherine Cordellia Millar (Kathi) Jordan, of Championsgate, Florida and Mesa, Arizona, formerly of Anne Arundel and Prince George's Counties, passed away suddenly due to cardiac arrest.

Kathi was born in Sibley Memorial Hospital in Washington DC, and grew up in College Park, Maryland and Adelphi, Maryland where she graduated from High Point High School in 1961. She majored in Spanish from University of Maryland, College Park in June 1967, just a few credits shy of a journalism degree. She was an avid reader and great writer. She enjoyed playing solitaire, sudoku and crossword puzzles.

She was the proud Mom and Grandmother of two daughters and four granddaughters. These girls and all her friends were her life. She was preceded in death by her parents, William Joseph Millar Jr. and Ida Lillian (Prichard) Millar in 2002 and 1994, respectively. Also preceded in death by her only sibling William Joseph Millar III of Piney Flats, TN in 2002. She is survived by her daughters, Elaine S. (Brian) Despeaux of Mesa, Arizona and Jill C. (Jim Clifford) Jordan of Championsgate, Florida; four grandchildren, Victoria M. Paddy, Elizabeth P. Paddy, Alexandra G. Paddy and Brooklyn R. Despeaux, all of Mesa, Arizona.

All are invited to call at Ft. Lincoln Funeral Home, 3401 Bladensburg Rd, Brentwood, Maryland 20722 on Saturday, September 17th. Visitation 9-11am and Interment 11:30 – 12pm. Repast will be a mile away at the American Legion Post 131 from 12 – 3pm.
