On Saturday, June 15, 2019, Helen passed away peacefully at Calvert County Nursing Center. Beloved mother of William Joseph (Bill) Ryan. She is survived by her sister, Jean Swisher, niece, Barbara (Bobbie) Welsh and Mike Swisher.
Helen was born on December 2, 1922 in Baltimore, MD to the late William John Cornwell and Evelyn A. (Dunn) Cornwell. She lived in Prince Frederick, Maryland for many years. Helen was a caregiver for most of her life caring for many children over the years. Later in life she cared for the elderly and her own disabled son. Helen was loved by many for her caring heart and devotions to ones she loved. She will be missed by friends and loved ones.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 25, 2019 at Fort Lincoln Funeral Home, 3401 Bladensburg Road, Brentwood, MD 20722. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Interment will follow at Fort Lincoln Cemetery, Brentwood, MD.
