Glenda Johnson departed this life on May 2, 2020 Washington, DC. She was born on December 16, 1956 in Washington, DC.
The oldest of eight children, Glenda lived with her mother, Mary Pollard in Washington, DC, where she continued to reside for the remainder of her life. She received her formal education through the DC Public School System. She graduated from McKinley Tech High School in 1974. With a passion for caring for others and her administrative skills, her many occupations included jobs ranging from a housekeeping aide at a retirement center to an administrative assistant.
As she joins her mother, Mary Pollard, her brother, Ricardo "Ricky" Jackson, and her son, Charles Pollard, Glenda is survived by her daughter, LaShawn Caudle. She is also survived by three sisters; Tonya Jackson, Sheree Jackson, and Yolonda Ridding; three brothers; Kevin Jackson, Michael Jackson, and Derrick Jackson; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
