Emma began her professional career in 1967 at Federal City College, now known as University of the District of Columbia. This is where she meet her husband Claude Davis in a relationship that endured until her passing.

Saint Peter,
A friend of mine, Emma Head Davis, left abruptly heading your way. She is charming. attractive, thoughtful, loving, kind and a Christian but, she is not patient.
Now that she is whole and healthy again she might be a bit much. You see she is particular about food and if you serve only milk and honey up there she might become a bit testy. If she did not like the place or menu when Claude would take her out to eat she would balk but offer no alternative. The only good food was food cooked by Claude other nephew.
Do people wear shoes up there? She has been without pretty shoes for a while so expect her to upset the place if she cannot find shoes to match her heavenly attire. She might let slip a few choice words when she looks down and sees me wearing one of her expensive scarves. Please remind her that she gave them to me herself.
How do people travel up there? Do they walk or fly around? I hate to tell you this but in her day she was a speed demon, I highly suggest you give her small wings otherwise she will put all others out of commission as she flits from place to place reuniting with love ones.
Do you have Amazon up there? I ask because she and Claude always sent me Peppermint Patty, Cupcake Moscato, Ferrero Rocher chocolates and sweet buns. Watch for a box every week if you do have Amazon. The company may shut down for a week in memory of her.
Please be patient with her as she tries to tell you about the great ways we had to communicate with each other down here. If she gets on your nerve ask her why she wanted to go back to a flip phone if things were so great for her.
Finally, ask her what is Claude suppose to do with all those papers she never finished sorting.
She left us so many laughable moments that we can never forget her.
