Elizabeth was one of eight children born to the
late Clarence and Ada Brinson Carlton. In
1949 Elizabeth married Alexander Laury in
Washington, DC.
Elizabeth loved children and fostered many at her home
day care business from 1961 to 2000.
She was a devoted wife, mother, sister, aunt, neighbor
and friend.
Elizabeth leaves to mourn her daughters Gloria and
Brenda Laury, godsons Ricardo Roberts (Sharon) and
Daryl Davis and a host of family and friends.
