Demetrius Leon Gibbs, native Washingtonian born September 26, 1967, transitioned peacefully Saturday, October 7, 2023. He worked for CW & Son’s Infrastructure as a Diesel Mechanical Engineer. Demetrius is survived by his daughter Gabrielle Gibbs, son Demetrius Leon Gibbs Jr grandchildren Riley & Jabril Johnson parents Samuel Leon Gibbs and late Mary Alice Gibbs. Siblings David Turner, Michael Turner, (late) Melvin Turner, (late) Clarice Turner, Wylicia Gibbs & Shanta Gibbs. A host of nieces and nephews; many bonus children and close friends. Special friend Tammy Fenwick, Memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 19, 2023 at Fort Lincoln Home and Cemetery, 3401 Bladensburg Rd, Brentwood, MD 20722 @ 11 a.m.
