Age 95. of Washington, DC, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 27, 2019. She is the devoted mother of two sons, DeWitt (Rebecca) Harris of North Fort Myers, FL and Vaughan Harris of Washington, DC. In addition to her sons, she will be greatly missed by seven grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Sheila Shears and a niece, Sheryle Sears. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd and Corinne Banks, and a sister Emiline Shears. Family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 5 from 12:30 p.m. until time of service 1:30 p.m. at Fort Lincoln Funeral Home, 3401 Bladensburg Road, Brentwood, MD 20722. Interment Fort Lincoln Cemetery.
