On October 4,2022 Barry VanDemark “Butchie” to pretty much everyone, he moved on to start his journey with the lord. Butchie was a very strong man, He was born in Washinton D.C. and lived all his life close by. He went to school in Beltsville M.D., this is where he started his journey in the love of sports. Butchie loved all sports but most of all loved playing baseball and soft ball, he played even after they told him he couldn’t play anymore. He loved all the nearby teams and was the biggest Red Skins fan I have ever met, well this was till they had to go and rename the team, he just could not let that one go! He was a great father and an even better grandfather/great grandfather, him, and his mother Jue Jue were the most inseparable pair, he lived with her back and forth helping her a lot of his life and even when he didn’t live there, he would always make it a point to go by and help her out with everything. Has was raised with only one sibling so this made it easy to be showered with love from his parents. Growing up I remember he loved having a nice clean and shiny car and he loved washing them in the front yard. He was also a dog lover, he had many dogs and kept them close to him all the time, they loved watching the games together. It is truly amazing how much love this man gave and never expected any in return. He was an exceptional man.
Matthew 11:28-30
“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”
Matthew 5:4
Blessed is those who mourn, for they will be comforted.
