Andre Marcellous Davis

Gently and peacefully after a long struggle with illness, Andre Marcellous Davis was returned to the loving embrace of his beloved Master and Heavenly Father on March 14th, 2021.

Andre’ was born the fifth child of Lillie Mae Davis and the late Herbert Lee Davis Sr, on April 30, 1958 in Washington, DC. Andre’ was baptized in the Roman Catholic Church June 14th, 2008. He was educated in the DC Public Schools and graduated from McKinley Technical High School. He attended the University of District of Columbia.

Andre’ retired from the Federal Government and Pitney Bowes due to his illnesses.

Andre’s profile of good morals and work ethics earned him the respect of many friends and acquaintances. He was a true friend and loved by everyone who knew him. Andre’ was known for his gift of gab, generosity, love of fashion and giving of medical advice to anyone who was in pain or would listen.

Andre’ was preceded in death by his older brothers, Spencer Leon Davis and Herbert Lee Davis Jr.

He leaves to embrace his loving mother Lillie Mae Davis of Washington DC, two sisters; Vicki Paige (Michael) and Michele Montague (DuRay) and brothers Maurice Davis and Michael Davis (Angela); three nieces, Mia Miller, Akila Drayton (Ronald) and Lindsey Montague; five nephews, Trenton Paige (Tasia), Michael Paige Jr (Thea), Marcus Paige (Karolyn), DuRay Montague II and Isaiah Davis; three great nieces, Anali Drayton, Echo Paige, Arctica Paige and one great nephew, Micah Drayton; two aunts and a host of cousins and friends.
