My Great Aunt Almeda, will forever be apart of me. I have been having a hard time coming to terms with this. An even harder time trying to find the words to express my feelings. Aunt Almeda, was a very strong, kind and giving person. The memory most close to my heart is of her coming to my rescue as a teenager. She was there for me and willing to open her home to me. Although I never took her offer. I always think back to that moment in life.  I will miss you very much. 

To my family, I love you all very much! My heart is with you all. I want to apologize for my absence in time of need. 

Granny I always remember the summers I spent with you as a child. It was always a must. I am happy to know that you are in a better place watching over all of us. From the amazing summer cook outs to your perfected peach cobbler it was done with love at the end of the day love and miss you Granny!

My dearest Friend..my deepest sympathy to you and your family on the loss of your Mother. You have taken such good care of Mrs. Almeda for many years, and should know that she will forever cherish you for your faithful and obedient love for here. In the days to come, my hopes are that you find a place of peace, hope, joy and love through God that will restore your strength and solitude for the days to come.

Mrs. Bush was my mother-in-law's younger sister. I had the pleasure to be in her company on several occasions throughout the years.  She was a kind, gentle lady who will be sorely missed by her family and friends.

Granny Bush came into my life when I was about 8 years old. She welcomed me into her home and her family, as she took on the role of being my foster mother. I remember her having a very large bed that I climbed in every night so that I could sleep with her. When I would ask to spend the night over a friends house I ended up calling Granny before the night was over. I would ask her to come pick me up because I wanted to come home with her, and she always came. I wanted to be near her she brought me so much comfort. She took care of me until my teenage years and I never once heard her complain about a thing. I Thank God for putting Granny in my life, I honestly don’t know where I would have been without her. She saved me when I didn’t know I needed to be saved. I will never forget her or the comfort that she brought to me. I Love you deeply Granny Bush. 

My granny wasn’t just my grandmother, she was really like a mom to me at times. She’d offer me advice and guidance that always made me feel like she was sharing bits of her with me; never coming from a place of “Do as I say.” and I always appreciated that. 

As I became an adult, we’d talk often and she became a wonderful friend to me as well. While I’ll miss her dearly, I feel overwhelmingly blessed when I think of how lucky I was to have her as my granny! 

I"ll always miss you and your Love and thoughts will always be with me.

There are no words to describe mrs. Bush. Such a warm easy going and loving person that she was. I'm not one of her biological children, but you would never know the way she treated me. She always made me feel like I was one of her children whenever I was in transition staying with them. I'm so glad I got to tell her I love her every time I talk to her. And she would always reply I love you too Boo and it was sincere. 
I could talk to her and she always make me feel better no matter what the problem was and trust me doing those days I was a problem child. But no matter how many problems I had Mrs.Bush love me and she told me she loved me.I thank God for Mrs. Bush because I know she's a part of me getting through the days that I've gotten through. I love you Mrs.Bush and I'll always love you and I'll always remember you. There's so many things I can say about a great woman like her that's what she was a great woman, but my tears won't allow me. It's really hard talking about her and thinking about her because I can go on and on. But I will say one more time I love you ma. Your loving daughter Boo

There are so many things that I loved and cherish about my mom.  Even as a young girl she was a strong and determined person.  Having me when she was only 15 and still in high school, she finished school and was determined to take care of me, her little girl.  She further purposed to be the best mom she could be, living by example the values she hoped would become her children’s one day.  My mom was an easy-going person. She loved and respected those around her; and she had a kind word for all.  I rarely saw my mom angry or upset.  She just took life as it came and tried to make the best of it.  Mom was very independent and determined to pull herself up by her bootstraps.  She overcame a lot in life and in doing so she and my father provided a wonderful home and life for my brother, sister, and me.   A  kind-hearted soul, she never failed to help someone in need.   My mom was truly an example to me.   A morally upright woman, she never smoked, drank, or cursed. She was truly a Proverbs 31 woman.   I already miss you mom.  I’ll forever cherish those days we put our heads together to brainstorm about how we could work together to get some seemingly impossible task done.  Love you, forever...

I met Ms. Bush in the late 80's! She had the most mildest and loving personality. I witnessed her love and friendship that she displayed to myself,  Sharon, NeeNee, and others. Her smile and gentle laugh was so cute and humble. I  have prayed for her family and those that knew her because her kindness will be missed. Such a sweetheart. 

I remember when I met Ms. Almeda. We worked together at Martin Marietta in mid 80's. She was such a sweet spirit. My condolences to Sharon and the rest of the family.  

My mother Almeda Bush was not only my mother, she was my friend, confidant and mentor.  My mother was the kindest, most humble, gentle and loving person I’ve ever known...She loved everyone.  She never complained (even when she was uncomfortable), never gossiped, cussed, fussed, ranted or raved.   A women of integrity, poise and grace.  I can truly say that I know what unconditional love is , because that’s always what she showed to her children and family.  Family meant everything to her.  It was my pleasure to  love and care for her in your last days.  I told her ever day “I love you Ma” and she replied “I love you too” and I would reply “I know you do!  I will truly  miss you Ma! I thank  God, every day that he made you my mother.  I love you with all my heart...forever!
