Viki Lanett Fager

Viki (Melton) Fager was born in Yakima, WA, and the family moved to California in 1964.

She was married to Dale Fager on July 6, 1991 in Charleston, SC. She enjoyed life as a Navy spouse and they lived in SC, FL, MS, IL, HI, WI, CA, and WA. After the Navy, they lived in MO, CA and finally settled in Green Bay WI. She enjoyed traveling, seeing family and friends, and entertaining guests at home. Her favorite place to visit was Paris and to live was Hawaii. She most enjoyed volunteering at the American Red Cross and Navy Family Support Groups. She hosted exchange students from Spain (Gema), Germany (Lilian) and Ukraine (Olya). The numerous cats and dogs were a loved and intricate part of the family.

She is preceded in death by her sister Marci Serrano; step-father Benjamin Bowlsby; sister-in-law Connie Obry; brother-in-law Ricki Osterman.

Survivors include her mother Shirley Bowlsby; father James Melton; son Joaquin Munoz (Jessica); sister Traci Connelly (Steve); brother Jim Melton (Bunny); step-brothers Jeff Bowlsby (Berdie), Scott Bowlsby (Gigi), Randy Bowlsby; granddaughters Cassandra Munoz, Savannah Enriquez, Alyssa Enriquez, Elyze Trujeque; brother-in-law Wayne Fager (Pamela), Louie Serrano, Glenn Obry; sister-in-laws Barbara Osterman, Paula Blood (Scott), Jan Maus (Barney), Patti Adleman (Bill), Lisa White Brian), Dawn Mclane (Lane), Sara Fager; also numerous Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and so many dear friends.

A memorial celebration will be at Summerset Clubhouse in Brentwood CA on July 29, 2023.

A memorial service will be held at St. Paul’s Church in Green Bay WI on August 5, 2023.

Her final resting place will be at Fort Howard Memorial Park in Green Bay WI
