Dear Uncle Bob,
I always enjoyed the time we got to spend together, even though it was limited due to our families living so far away from each other.  I love hearing my mom tell stories about the "big brotherly" things you did for her, like the time there was a bat in the house, and you had to chase it out.  Thank you for being a wonderful Uncle, and a wonderful brother to my mom.  You will be dearly missed.

a boy looking to bond...it was an alliance that never waivered, no matter that it came to me so early and then traveled so far away...i could always count on you to instantly pierce my veneers...to always see directly...even on the telephone...

the freedom that comes from relationships void of pretence

and honor the honesty we enjoyed.

My sincerest condolences to the Heagle family and to everyone effected by this sad occasion.  I was fortunate enough to have been coached by Robert in both basketball & baseball and can still vividly remember games and practices to this very day.  I also fondly remember his sense of humor and his ability to form camaraderie with the young men he coached while still commanding their respect.  It was no small feat that he made look easy.

We were so sorry to learn of Bob's passing.  To Geri and family, our deepest sympathy is extended along with our prayers.  We fondly remember the old days and old friends from Pleasanton.

You will be missed Uncle Bob. Yor always wanting to talk about my latest challanges in life, was appreciated. I remember you sending us 49ers jackets and clothes. Our Chritsmas chats about hockey, and all around good natured spirit whenever you were around. We will miss your smile, charm, humor, and swagger, We love you and will always remember you Uncle Bob.

During our four years together at Cretin High in St. Paul, I only knew Bob slightly, but I knew he was a good classmate and a good person.  May he rest in peace.  May perpetual light shine upon him.

Dear Brother of Mine, You were a Brother and Father to Me. You stood next to Me through My most challenging times and held me up. You were a wonderful human with a heart full of love and a passion for Children. You and Geri have nurtured four beautiful children who will carry on your spirit.
