Bob was a faithful son of God, a selfless man who joined the Marines to help his sick mother. He served twice in the Korean War and was awarded two purple hearts due to the injuries he had because of his hardwork and dedication. He was a loving husband who unconditionally loved his stepchildren and grandchildren.
Robert was survived by his wife, Remedios Cadena, his five stepchildren, Joannie, Xavier, Domingo, Angelique, and Nathalie, his 7 grandchildren, Matthew, Gavin, Gwen, Nathan, Angelo, Maddie, and Trixie, his nieces Beverly, Carole and nephew Moochie.
Other than serving in the military, he also had a career as an Electrical Engineer at National Elevator Industry which he served for 35 years.
He showed a lot of people how faithful he was to God by serving the church. He dedicated himself in putting up Christmas Trees for the VA in Martinez that turned into a family tradition every after Thanksgiving.
Bob was a fighter, a survivor, and his family’s hero.
