Joan Brewer

Joan is survived by her loving husband Bill Brewer, daughters Kim Hamilton, Michelle Lindstedt, grandchildren Brittney Hamilton, Devyn Lindstedt, Tyler Lindstedt, Braden Hamilton, as well as numerous nieces and nephews in the United Kingdom. Joen is preceded in death by her parents James and Ethel, siblings John, Doreen, and Tommy.

Joan was born on February 12, 1936 to the late James and Ethel Tyldesley. At the age of 23, Joan relocated from her hometown of Bolton, England, to San Francisco, California, where she had secured employment. Joan later transitioned to another position and met Bill Brewer, whom she married the love of her life and shared a wonderful 59 years of marriage. Shortly after marriage Joan and Bill welcomes two daughters. Joan was known for having an adventurous side which allowed her to take part in many wonderful experiences which she embraced every one of them. Some of her hobbies included knitting, crafting, cooking, sharing recipes, garage sale spree’s, flea markets, visiting discount stores, and taking bus trips to casinos with friends and family. Bill introduced her to fishing, an activity for them during their retirement as they traveled in their motorhome, fishing for salmon, striper, and sturgeon at a Resort, where they formed many friendships. Joan and Bill also traveled extensively throughout the United States and neighboring countries. Joan was passionate about her family, caring to everyone’s needs, always having fun but most importantly being a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and friend.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date to celebrate Joan’s life.
