Janette Jennie Cloud

Janette "Janet" Jennie Cloud (née Barrios), aged 83, passed away on July 4, 2024, in Concord, CA. Born on January 12, 1941, in Martinez, CA, Janet was a loving and caring individual known for her warmth, happy demeanor, and beautiful smile.

Janet spent her formative years attending Oakley Elementary and later graduated from Liberty Union High School. She dedicated over 35 years of her life in the Medical field where her commitment and personable attitude were greatly valued. Janet was a member of the Antioch SDA church for 54 years and an active leader in the 40's Plus Singles Club. She loved dancing, music (especially Santana) long drives to the ocean, reading her Bible, and spending time with her many friends and family. Janet was thoughtful of everyone that she knew and showed compassion to complete strangers.

Janet was preceded in death by her father, Raymond Barrios, Sr.; her mother, Jennie Barrios; and her brother, Raymond Barrios, Jr. She is survived by her loving children, John Lasater (Bea), Ron Lasater, and Janeen Frost (Matt); her cherished grandchildren, Ian Lasater, Kate Nakagawa, Brandon Kuhns, Sean Lasater, Morgan Lasater, Jordan Cloud, and Connor Cloud; and her adored great-grandchildren, Abigail, Giselle, Kylar, Coraline, Kainoa, Kamden, Jameson, Andrea, and Murphy.

Services will be held at the Antioch SDA Church, August 29, 2024 at 11:00am. Reception to follow at Little Manuel’s 1509 A Street, Antioch, CA. The Brentwood Funeral Home in Brentwood, CA, is assisting with the arrangements. Janet's life and legacy will be remembered fondly by all who knew her, and she will be deeply missed especially by her children.
