Jane Tomko Bingham, passed away peacefully on June 30, 2014, surrounded by her loving family, at the age of 82. Jane was born in Brawley, CA, a second born twin, on June 8, 1932. She grew up in San Francisco and graduated from Mission High School. As a young teenager, she met the love of her life, Ralph Bingham. In 1951, after returning from the Korean War, Ralph and Jane married. They made their first home in San Francisco before purchasing their life long home in San Bruno, where they raised their five children. Jane loved her family and supported her children in school, sports, and scouts throughout the years. Her grandchildren were the light of her life, she loved them dearly and even as her health declined, the sight of her grandchildren would light up her eyes and bring a beautiful smile to her face. Her work experience included secretarial positions with Union Carbide, Bank of America, and United Airlines. As a retiree, she remained active with the United Airlines Retirees group & enjoyed the many friendships she made.
Jane was a life-long Christian and was active in a number of ministries over the years, always the first to volunteer her time to help others. She was an avid sports fan of the S.F. Giants and a 49er Faithful season ticket holder for many years. You never experienced a true fan until you had the opportunity to watch a game with Jane. She enjoyed traveling, playing board games, watching Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune, and was an expert at solving crossword puzzles

Jane is preceded in death by her husband of 36 years, Ralph, and her twin sister, Janet Perry. She is survived by her children; Ralph Jr., Bob, Jeff, Sandy, and Kevin; their spouses; and her beloved grandchildren; Ashley, Russell, Lauren, Cameron, Jesse, Vincent, Brenton, Alyssa, Anna, Megan, Olivia, and Shaymus. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
A celebration of her life will be held at Brentwood Funeral Home, 839 First Street, Brentwood on Monday, July 7th at 11:00 A.M. with visitation preceding the service from 9:00 to 11:00 A.M. Private interment will take place at Skylawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Heart Association.
