Daniel Ross Farnham

Born September 9, 1948 in Van Nuys, CA

Died April 21, 2021 in Antioch, CA

Born and raised in the San Fernando Valley, he was part of a family that pioneered the development of North Hollywood.

He attended Coldwater Canyon Elementary School, James Madison Jr. High, Ridgewood Military Academy, Van Nuys High School and L.A. Valley College. He was active in R.O.T.C at Van Nuys High School. He always participated at the class of 1966 high school reunions.

He worked in banking, auto and truck fuel distribution and as an extra in the film and TV industries.

Dan was an avid storyteller and he enjoyed telling funny stories about school, life, and what happened behind the scenes in the movie business. His companion dog “Buddy” always accompanied Dan.

His Father Daniel Farnham Sr., Mother Alice Farnham, Brother David Farnham and Sister Judith Farnham preceded Dan in death.

He is survived by his Brother James Farnham, Sister-in-law Sue Farnham, Nephew Scott Farnham and Niece Megan Ambrosini and their children Derek Farnham, Dylan Farnham, Sicily Ambrosini and Savina Ambrosini.

Graveside services are to be held at the Mausoleum of the Good Shepard, Pierce Brothers Valhalla Memorial Park, 10621 Victory Blvd. North Hollywood, CA. 91606
