Dana Marie Neely

On July 24, 2015 our Heavenly Father called home our beloved sister, wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother Dana Marie Neely. She will be dearly missed by every life she touched. Dana was born the oldest of two children on January 27, 1941, in Culver City, California to William Judd and Della Olsen. On September 19, 1958 Dana married her eternal companion Gary Neely in civil matrimony, and then sealed in the Los Angeles LDS Temple for all time and eternity on September 5, 1963, allowing their family to be together forever in the eternities.

If you know Dana you know she has a gentle spirit about her, a gentle love and respect for all walks of life. Many lives have been blessed through her amazing service as a mother and member of her church congregation. Church service callings and assignments were always carried out with full-effort. Dana has a genuine love for those she served. Dana’s favorite time spent was with her family. Dana has a great love for her genealogy of family members who have previous passed through the veil; as she worked faithfully in the Oakland LDS Temple over the past 40-years of her life.

Dana is survived by her loving husband Gary, Brother Paul Judd, and children: Chris Martin, Frank Neely, Barbara Fletcher, Jason Neely, Jared Neely, Karen Bromley, Richard Neely, James Neely and their spouses. Thirty four grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren and counting!

Dana will always be in our hearts, her influence and love will continue to carry on through eternity!
