Christa Maria Reinhard was born on August 5th, 1941 in Straubing, Bavaria, Germany. At the age of 17, she traveled with George Reinhard to Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. There they got married and had their first child. In 1962 they moved to Redwood City, California. Over the next few years, they had two more children. In 1972 they moved to Menlo Park. Sadly, her marriage ended in 1978. She struggled being a single mom, but never failed to provide the essentials for her and her children. Christa starting working for The Menlo Town Club in 1973 where she eventually worked her way up into a manager's position. She worked there for over 25 years. She met the love of her life there, and they were together for 18 years, sadly he predeceased her in death on the exact date and time 19 years prior to her own death.
Christa was a seamstress by trade and she loved to sew. She also loved to knit and crochet. She had created many aphgans over the years and hundreds of scarves. She was an avid yahtzee player and was known as the yahtzee queen among friends. She was competitive and did not enjoy losing. She looked very forward to game night, and especially enjoyed playing with her special friends Haley and Emily. Christa loved to travel and was fortunate to visit many beautiful places over the years. Her favorite place was Maui. In March of 2024, she was able to return there for one last time.
Christa fought a long hard battle against cancer. She was diagnosed in November 2022. She will be missed by many.
Christa leaves behind three children;
Eddy ( Riki) Mike, Lisa (Neal). Eight Grandchildren; Julia (Seth) Mark (Marion) Nicole (Keoni) Nikita (Elijah) Megan, Eric (Anna) Amy, and Kevin. And seven Great Grandchildren; Aiden, John, Emily, Raelyn, Elisabeth, Jamen, and Kannon Jack. Kannon predeceased her in death by 3 days.
