Alice moved to California with her father Arnie Delbert Schley and Mother Lessie May Webb at a very young age. She lost her father in 1948 at the age of 9 years old. She attended high school at Liberty High School from 1954 to 1958. In 1961 she met and married her husband Thomas B Ott Sr. and moved to back to Oakley in 1971 where she became a pioneer by being a self taught, self employed bookkeeper and tax practitioner until her death in 2021. She also co owned A and T Drive Inn in Oakley with her husband in 1979. She loved her family beyond all measure. She also loved to gamble $1 slot machines, bingo, playing cards. She was an avid reader, traveling on long rides, dancing and playing in the rain. She also loved to research her family history on Ancestry.
She is survived by her 3 children, James A Ott, daughter Angela L. Ott-Katrones, son in law Timothy S. Katrones and son, Thomas B Ott Jr. Grandchildren Dawn Marie (David), Alisha (James), James T. Ott, Jonathan R. Ott, Donny J.Ott, Desiree Katrones (Efrain), Donny J. Ott and Stephen T. Ott. 12 grandchildren with another on the way. Numerous nieces and nephews. She was proceeded in death by her beloved husband, Thomas in 2007, her father in 1948, her mother in 1980. Stepfather Leo Webb in 1983, Her only sibling Iva Jean in 2002. A nephew Arnie Cronin.
Private family viewing is being held at Brentwood Funeral Home in Brentwood on June 22, 2021. Graveside services (at her request) on June 29, 2021 at 11:30 am at Oakview Memorial Park Antioch, Ca. A reception immediately following at 1868 W.Cypress Rd Oakley, Ca.
