Ronald Ron "Ron" Gibson

GIBSON – Ron Gibson, 55, passed away suddenly on April 17, 2011. A resident of Bremerton, Ron graduated from Hansen, Idaho, High School, and attended Olympic College after serving several years in the United States Navy. Ron worked for King County since 1980, as a chef at Cedar Hills Alcohol Treatment Center, and as a maintenance technician with King County Transit. Ron enjoyed spending time with family and friends, reading, mountain climbing, golf, going to the Oregon coast, and especially volunteering at the Bremerton Community Theater.

Ron is survived by his wife, Diana Encinares Gibson; his daughters, Misty Joy Middlebrook and her husband Bryan, and Jennifer Cherisse Richardson and her husband Jordan; siblings Tom Gibson and his wife Jeannie, John Gibson and his wife Irene, and Anne Ledbetter and her husband Gary; and friends Eric Wise and his wife Rhonda, John Williams; and Willie Wilette.

A celebration of Ron’s life will be held Friday, April 29, 2011, at 3:00 p.m. at Miller Woodlawn Funeral Home “Chapel on the Hill", 5505 Kitsap Way, Bremerton.
