Roberta Christine (Voight) Winslow was born in Leavenworth, Kansas on May 16th 1963. She passed away on November 7th 2023 in Bremerton, Washington. Roberta had so much more life to live and love to give. She was a well-loved member of the Bremerton community. Roberta was a talented dancer in her younger years, earning several scholarships to ballet camps across the country. She danced with the Peninsula Dance Theatre and performed in the annual productions of Nutcracker and Swan Lake throughout the 1970’s. As a young adult, Roberta managed the local Dairy Queen. Roberta was always a free spirit and a gentle soul. She loved music and dancing. Roberta was generous to others and loved her children, family and friends, who will all miss her. Roberta is survived by her four sons: Tom (Ericka) Winslow, Todd (Jeana) Winslow, Gary Winslow and Tim Winslow; her parents, Berti Gann and Peter Voight II and her siblings, Peter Voight III and Rebecca Nemec; as well as 11 grandchildren and 1 great grandson. A Celebration of Roberta’s life will be held on 12/9/23 at noon at the Miller Woodlawn Funeral Home in Bremerton.
